About The Bittern Line
Welcome to the Bittern Line, a Community Railway Partnership which supports and publicises the railway from Norwich to Cromer and Sheringham. The railway forms part of the National Rail system. The Partnership was formed by Broadland District Council and the local railway company in 1997, additional funding partners have joined and funds raised are used to promote the railway and the surrounding area to develop economic and environmental benefits for residents, visitors and tourists. We are supported by The Department for Transport and the National Community Rail organisation ACoRP.
