Depwade Register Office is situated within the listed 18th century Council Office building in the heart of the picturesque market town of Diss. We are here for the registration of births, deaths, and the conducting of marriages and civil partnerships. We also issue certificates from historic as well as recent records relating to births, deaths and marriages. The office here at Diss is part time so it is important to ring to make an appointment should you wish to come in and see us.

The Registrar for the registration of births and deaths is here on Mondays 9.30am - 1.30pm, Wednesday s10am -1pm,and Fridays 9.30am - 1.30pm.

OUR CEREMONY ROOM

The Ceremony Room is on the first floor and, with cream full-length drapes adorning the picture windows, Norfolk prints on the walls and fresh flower arrangements all making for a peaceful and calming atmosphere, we have a reputation for providing personal and friendly ceremonies tailored to you. Music, favourite poems, readings or even a ceremony with a theme can all be incorporated. And, afterwards, the nearby Mere can provide an extra backdrop to your photos. Whatever your wishes, we are confident you and your guests will enjoy your big day and the memories it will leave.
